~ Official Website.

Terminus is the setting of Pantheon: Rise of the Fallen. This unique world is built from the fragments of other worlds, including civilizations and Deities.

Lore[ | ]

Terminus is a high-fantasy world, wildly diverse with land formed from fragments of many different realms and times, bringing with them their unique civilizations and deities. Explore long lost realms, as their people and cultures vie for power and form alliances, struggling to gain a foothold in an unfamiliar world. Uncover civilizations and awe-inspiring locales that offer incredible adventures for you and your friends to experience. Enter a world where the environment itself tells the story and where content is always king!

Cast your eyes about the realms, though be warned much of this world has changed in even the last five hundred years, and much will change again. Shall you Wander or merely Gaze? Hear you a Whisper beyond the Sands? Though you need no final destination, be wise as the late inkling and start your journey with a map.

Defining Regions, Areas and Zones[ | ]

If you would like to explore regions, areas or zones, then consult see the See Also section below or the navigator at the bottom of this page.

Area
Pantheon is a seamless world, meaning that it is not divided into zones in the traditional way an MMO would be (more on Zones below). Because of this, the Wiki uses the term Areas to define specific sections of the game world that share some common feature. For example, a bandit infested keep would be an Area on its own. If there were camps around the keep filled with bandits on the same Faction, those would included in that Area.

Areas, with few exceptions, are a part of a Region.

Regions
By the Wiki's definition, Regions are large sections of the game world which contain Areas and Zones. Think of Regions as "folders" which help organize nearby Areas together for easier navigation.

Zones
Zones are functionally similar to Areas with one key difference: unlike Areas, players must cross an invisible boundary known as a Zone Line to enter a Zone.

Important Note: "Zone" is a term that has been in the MMO community since the earliest days and, as such, is still used frequently in the community. While the Wiki has a very specific use of the term, players may use "Zone" more loosely. Generally, the usage will align with the description of Areas as provided above.
